Saturday, October 19: An evening out for married and engaged couples!

• WHEN: Saturday, October 19, from 6:00-9:00 pm.
• WHO: For married and engaged couples only.
• WHAT: Join us for a night full of fun, food (spaghetti fondue!), and fellowship! We’ll play some games for prizes and hear from our very own, Jerrad and Betsy Rickard (see below for details).
• WHERE: The Activity Center at EFCCL
• COST: $10 per couple

How God’s mission for His people creates a foundation for navigating the most complex and intimate human relationship.

Jerrad and Betsy Rickard will share the testimony of how God changed their destructive marriage into a mutual love for Christ and his Kingdom. Even 11 years after God’s dramatic transformation of their marriage, God continues to use the tool of marriage to shape and reshape their character and challenge them to be more Christ-like. They will discuss the practicalities of having a vision for a marriage, a plan for communicating and connecting, and the importance of being on mission together. Marriage is messy, sometimes painful and complicated, but it’s also glorious. When marriage is viewed from a biblical frame of mind, it can be an amazing journey towards wholeness and holiness.

Jerrad and Betsy Rickard have been married for almost 23 years and have been members of EFCCL for 11 years. They have 4 somewhat grown children, and are passionate about serving in a variety of ministries.
